Which surfboard are you currently surfing and what are its dimensions? Bunny Chow by Al Merrick is my absolute favorite, measuring 5'10 with a volume of 25L.
How long have you been surfing? I first learned about 10 years ago, but only started taking it seriously in 2019. I had always wanted to be surfer when I was younger but there were not many girls doing it. Instead I followed winters around the world snowboarding until eventually I decided to get surf lessons while working in St Martin, Caribbean. I have never looked back!
The most unforgettable location I have ever surfed was Nutmegs in Samoa. It's a point break that only works when the trade winds are really strong. The tropical jungle reflecting in the emerald green water turns turquoise when it barrels. Being the only female in the line up, the guys were very polite and let me take any of the waves I wanted. I actually had to take a break from the water because I was too hot, that was a first for me!
Her buisness brand is 'Almost Summer Surf Suits'. The clue is in the name. I adore my wetsuit collection and enjoy wearing different ones depending on the day. I love adding color to the water and having fun with it, but most importantly, I aim to design suits that keep you warm during slightly colder summer waters, while making you feel confident and comfortable.
I aspire to see women sporting my designs in the water. Additionally, with the tools I use for designing my suits, I can provide online fittings to help individuals find the best size and style to suit their unique body shapes. I also hope to offer a level of personalization by mixing and matching designs to match each person's style.
